APPA Supervisor’s Toolkit

Training Session Announcement
SRAPPA is sponsoring a Supervisor’s Toolkit training session at the University of Alabamain Tuscaloosa, AL from December 5 to December 9, 2011. The tuition for this five day training is $549 per person (see schedule below). Travel, per diem, etc. are not covered by the registration fee. Lunches and break refreshments are not included in the registration fee. The University of Alabama will provide some lunches and dinner at no cost.
Registration is available through APPA(www.appa.org/Training/registration/register_pre.cfm?itemnumber=4110) starting October 31, 2011 until November 18, 2011. If you encounter any problems registering, please contact Corey Newman at 703-684-1446 ext. 228 or newmanc@appa.org.
Only checks will be accepted. Please send checks made out to SRAPPA to Margaret Kelland at Virginia Commonwealth University (mkelland@vcu.edu). Her address is PO Box 843011, Richmond, VA 23284-3011. The class will be limited to the first 40, so register early!
Classes will be held in room 179 of the Facilities Administration Building (FAB)
The Facilities Administration Building is located at 1205 14th St and is located at the intersection of 14th St and 12th Ave in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Take 15th St to 10th Ave northbound. After crossing the railroad tracks, make a left on to 14th St. The FAB will be located across the street to the left at the stop sign. There is no charge for parking adjacent to the training site.
Lodging is available at several hotels in the area (see below for a list of hotels)..
