ABOUT SRAPPA

SRAPPA is one of six regional organizations dedicated to the operation of buildings on campuses of higher education. SRAPPA consists of members from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, and Yucatan.

APPA used to stand for the Association of Physical Plant Administrators in the late 1960’s through the early 1990’s. Today, the association is known as APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities, and is most easily recognized and referred to as simply “APPA.”
